Three Muses

Three Muses is a combination of professionals in culinary, hospitality and music because it is owned by three unique individuals who shared the same vision for a restaurant. Daniel Esses is a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Cookery School in New York. He uses his culinary experience to bring together innovative, enticing and yet simple dishes. Sophie Lee is responsible for the hospitality and music aspect of Three Muses because she is a musician by heart and a hospitality specialist at the same time. She has a very profound appreciation of New Orleans music but also for its culinary culture which makes her a perfect partner in the business. Christopher Starnes was born and raised in New Orleans and he has had about 20 years of experience with the restaurant and hospitality business. He is an excellent bartender which earned him awards and mentions from media for his signature cocktails.

Three Muses is located at the Frenchman Street in New Orleans and they are open Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:00-10:00pm and Friday and Saturday from 5:00pm-12:00midnight. Their happy hours are from 4:30-6:30pm wherein you can enjoy $5 wines, $3 beers.

The full dining experience begins once you see the menu which offers snacks, choices of meat and fish for the main entrée, vegetarian dishes and dessert. The snack choices include Boiled Edamame, Marinated Olives, Rosemary and Cayenne, Roasted Cashews, Housemade Kosher-dill, Fried Pickle Chips, Feta Fries and Cheese Plate. The meat entrées are composed of Steak and Cake, Lamb Sliders, Duck Confit and Dried Cherry Rigatoni, Kurobuta Pork Belly, Moroccan Lamb Shank Pizza, Ms. Moon’s Boolgogi Rice Bowl while the Fish entrées are Tuna and Nachos, Falafel Crusted Scallops, Broiled Oysters, Steamed Mussels and Fries, Gulf Fish Tacos and Lobster Egg Rolls.

Vegetarians will not feel deprived at all because they also offer a wide variety of vegetarian dishes such as Mac and Cheese, Hollygrove Arugula and Beet Salad, Butternut Squash Ravioli, Sweet Potato Gnocchi, Covey Rise Farm’s Baby Bok Choy and Bruschetta. Desserts include Banana-Marcapone Struedel, Creole Cream Cheese Brownie, Ponchatoula Strawberry Tart and Housemade Ice Cream.

Given that they have many choices on their menu, you can always ask their staff to help you decide what to have and which food go well together. If you wish to have a laid back night away from the usual busy and noisy streets of Bourbon, Three Muses is the place is to be. It is an easy going, comfortable and cozy place which offers live jazz music. It is the perfect place to unwind from a very busy and fast-paced work day.

With good food, a laid back ambiance, accommodating staff and relaxing music, Three Muses is really money well spent. After you have enjoyed your scrumptious dinner, you will find yourself wanting to stay on longer to have a couple of drinks and listen to the music. It is highly recommended for you to come early in the evening so you are sure to have a table.
