One of the best selling subs in Tony Boloney’s is the Cheesesteak Ole Hoagie. This restaurant serves authentic Atlantic City pizza. Authentic Atlantic City pizza, for the information of non-Atlantic City people, is a little bit messier with cheese and toppings falling all over the crust, more well-done than the usual pizza in other restaurants.
Tony Boloney offers make-it-yourself pizza. Diners can choose whether they want a red or white pizza – meaning with sauce or no sauce. They can also choose the kind of cheese to put on their pizza. Cheese choices include Mozzarella, Smoked Mozzarella, Cheddar, American Parmesan and Swiss among others. Then comes the meat. Meat choices include Pepperoni, Salami, Ham, Beef, Sausage, Turkey, Bacon, etc. Then finally what they call ‘the greenish stuff’ which includes mushrooms, tomato, broccoli, spinach, white/red onions, pineapple, fried onion, fresh garlic and peppers. Another good thing about this restaurant is the Pizza Making Classes they offer. Mike, the restaurant owner, is in-charge of the classes. There are limited slots per class so it is best to sign-up early.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and serves coffee, too. Tony Boloney’s is up bright and early for breakfast, but offers pick-up food only from 6AM to 11AM.
