Before a Canadian is allowed to enter Burundi, he or she will need to present the visa appropriate for the purpose of visit.
General Requirements for Tourist Visa:
- Passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
- Three completed and signed Application Forms
- Three recent passport-size photographs
- Round trip airline tickets (copy), or itinerary, or a confirmation letter from travel agent
- Proof of yellow fever vaccination
General Requirements for Business Visa:
- Passport with at least 6 months validity remaining
- Three completed and signed Application Forms
- Three recent passport-size photographs
- Round trip airline tickets (copy), or itinerary, or a confirmation letter from travel agent
- Business letter stating your purpose of visit, or nature of the work to be carried out with responsibility of all travel expenses, signed by an authorized individual along with the applicant
- Invitation letter from your host company or references in Burundi
- Proof of yellow fever vaccination
