Canadian citizens who intend to visit Mozambique must have visas to enter the country. They must also be in possession of passports with at least six months validity beyond the expected departure from the country. These should also have at least one blank page for the visa stamp.
Visitors’ visas can be obtained upon arrival at the airport in Mozambique. Visas issued at the airport are for single entry only and for stays up to 30 days. Business, student, transit visitors must secure their visas before leaving Canada. Visas issued can either be single or multiple entry. However, Mozambican government only allows 30-day stays per entry. Those who stay beyond their visa allows are charged with a fine, approximately US$40.00 per day.
An airport departure tax is also collected at the terminal. International flight fee is usually US$30.00.
Foreign travelers coming from yellow fever infected areas are required to present proof of yellow fever vaccination.

Tourist and Business Visa
Single entry, valid for 2 months, up to 30 days stay: US $20.00
Multiple entry, valid for 3 months, up to 15 days stay: US $40.00
