Canadian citizens intending to travel to Saint Kitts and Nevis do not need to obtain a visa. A 30-day stay is usually granted to Canadians upon arrival, provided that they are able to present a valid official photo identification card (such as a driver’s license) and proof of citizenship (such as a birth certificate); a return or onward ticket and evidence of financial means to cover the cost of their trip.
It is highly advised that Canadians always bring their passports for international travel, even if it is not a requirement for entry into their country of destination.
Extensions of stay can be applied for at the Saint Kitts and Nevis Department of Immigration, for a fee. A departure tax of EC$58 for adults and EC$25 for children under 12 are charged.
