Visa Requirements for Canada Passport Holders – Tuvalu

Canadian passport holders are not required to obtain visas before traveling to Tuvalu. 3-month visitor permits are obtainable by Canadian citizens upon arrival, as long as their passports are valid for at least 6 months following their departure from Tuvalu. They must also carry confirmed onward or return tickets and proof of adequate funds to cover their expenses for the duration of stay.

Currently, AUD30 departure tax is charged when travelers leave the country.

Those traveling to Tuvalu for business and employment are required to secure their visas prior to arriving in the country. Tuvalu is not represented by an embassy or consulate, so all applications and/or inquiries must be directed to the Consulate of Tuvalu in the United States.

Canadian citizens are strongly advised to confirm the above-mentioned visa, entry and exit regulations before making travel plans as these are subject to change without prior notice.
