Visa Requirements for Canada Passport Holders – Bosnia and Herzegovina

All Canadian citizens are required to present valid passport upon entering Bosnia and Herzegovina. The validity should at least be three months beyond the date of the expected departure from the country.

Canada passport holders are not required to secure visa when traveling to Bosnia and Herzegovina as a visitor and will not be staying beyond 90 days. It is required, though, to register at the local police upon arrival.

If you plan to stay for a period of more than 90 days, you must apply for a Residency Permit at the Border Police aside from registering with the local police.

Visa types and fees

  • Single entry-exit or transit visa: CAD 46
  • Multiple entry-exit visa: CAD 84
  • Multiple entry-exit visa up to 90 days: CAD 84
  • Multiple entry-exit visa over 90 days: CAD 106

All fees must be paid either through money order or cashier’s check payable to Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

  • Valid passports and other travel document
  • Copy of round-trip ticket or itinerary
  • Duly accomplished application form
  • Passport size ID picture
