Anyone overstaying the duration of their visa should expect heavy penalties. As per the law, a fine of OMR 10 per day is charged for overstaying beyond the validity of the visa.
Canadian passport holders visiting Oman must present a certificate for yellow fever vaccination if they are entering the country from an infected area.
Work visas, either in advance or after your arrival on a single-entry visa, must be acquired by your employer in Oman.
