Visa Requirements for US Passport Holders – Guinea (Republic of Guinea)

US citizens intending to travel to Guinea are required to secure a visa prior to traveling. They should also have a valid passport, a World Health Organization (WHO) international vaccination record card and certification of yellow fever vaccination.

General Requirements

Tourist Visa

  • Valid passport, with at least 3 months validity beyond the scheduled trip
  • 2 duly accomplished and signed visa application forms
  • 2 passport size pictures
  • Proof of financial support or bank statement
  • Copy of confirmed itinerary including round-trip ticket
  • WHO card
  • Current Yellow Fever Vaccination certificate
  • Letter of Invitation from the host in Guinea

Business Visa

  • Valid passport, with at least 3months validity beyond the scheduled trip
  • 2 duly accomplished and signed visa application forms
  • 2 passport size pictures
  • Copy of confirmed itinerary including round-trip ticket
  • WHO card
  • Current Yellow Fever Vaccination certificate
  • Letter from employer stating the reason for the travel including the name and address of the company to be visited and proof of financial support

Tourist/Business Visa: US$100.00 per visa
