Visa Requirements for Philippine Passport Holders – Bahamas (Commonwealth of The Bahamas)

Filipino nationals, who wish to travel to the Bahamas, are required to obtain a visa before traveling.  They are also required to present valid passport. The validity should cover the whole period of the planned travel.

Types of visas and fees

  • Single-entry Visa:  USD 55
  • Multiple-entry visa: USD 65

Single-entry visas are valid for a period of three months while multiple-entry visas are valid for six months. These can be extended by applying for an extension at the office of the Director of Immigration in the Bahamas.

The above fees are payable either in cash, money order or traveler’s checque.

When leaving the Bahamas, visitors are required to pay a departure tax of USD15.

  • Duly accomplished application form
  • Valid passport
  • 1 passport size photo
  • Visa fee receipt
  • Travel documents: round trip ticket or itinerary
