Filipinos who wish to visit Vanuatu for a maximum of 30 days do not need visas provided that they are able to present their Philippine passports which must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended period of stay in Vanuatu, proof of sufficient funds and onward or return airline tickets.
Vaccination against malaria is highly recommended as there is a low to moderate malaria risk throughout the year in the whole country.
All foreigners intending to remain in Vanuatu long term are required to obtain standard residence permits from the Vanuatu Immigration Department. The residence permits are issued initially for a duration of 1 year and are subject to annual renewal. There is also a non-refundable fee of Vt2,000.00 which is payable to the Immigration Office upon submission of the completed application form.
