Visa Requirements for Philippine Passport Holders – Algeria (People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria)

Every territory comprises of different specific requirements for those who wish to reside in their country or region for extended periods of usually more than 90 days, especially those who plan to stay for reasons of studying, working, or taking on any other non-tourist activities. In order to gather information on detailed entry requirements, diplomatic or consular office(s) of the destination(s) you wish to visit are key places to look for and retrieve this information. Nevertheless, these requirements are subject to change at any time. Therefore, it is still best to contact them for up to date information. Remember that failure to adhere of the entry and exit requirements may result in grave penalties.

Travelers, upon arrival are made to declare all foreign currency. Currency declaration forms are issued to be presented upon departure. During your stay, all transactions made must be recorded.

For Business visa:

  1. Philippine passport, with at least 6 months of validity left
  2. Three copies of fully accomplished and properly signed Visa Application Forms
  3. Three copies of Identical passport-sized photographs recently taken
  4. An invitation letter from your sponsor(s) in Algeria
  5. Note from the company you are employed under, stating the reason of your visit to Algeria
  6. Sometimes, supplementary information form with reference to the company’s professional activities are needed

For Tourist visa:

  1. Philippine passport, with at least 6 months of validity left
  2. Three copies of fully accomplished and properly signed Visa Application Forms
  3. Three copies of Identical passport-sized photographs recently taken
  4. An authenticated certificate of accommodation or invitation, including the name(s) of your host(s) inviting you, your relationship to them and the address where you will be staying at during your visit
  5. An authenticated signature at the “Commune of residence” from the person or people inviting you

  6. When considered necessary, a letter verifying your reservation for the whole period of your stay from an Algerian hotel

For Family visit visa:

  1. Philippine passport, with at least 6 months of validity left
  2. Three copies of fully accomplished and properly signed Visa Application Forms
  3. Three copies of Identical passport-sized photographs recently taken                                                               
  4. A proof or document of relationship of the applicants with the inviting person or family.

For Diplomatic Visa:

  1. Passport, with at least 6 months of validity left
  2. Three copies of fully accomplished and properly signed Visa Application Forms
  3. Three copies of Identical passport-sized photographs recently taken

For Journalist visa:

  1. Philippine passport, with at least 6 months of validity left
  2. Three copies of fully accomplished and properly signed Visa Application Forms
  3. Three copies of Identical passport-sized photographs recently taken                                                        
  4. An assignment letter from the applicant’s media employer
  5. When appropriate, your Algerian partner’s invitation letter

For Courtesy visa:

  1. Service or special passport, with at least 6 months of validity left
  2. Three copies of fully accomplished and properly signed Visa Application Forms
  3. Three copies of Identical passport-sized photographs recently taken
