Visa Requirements for Philippine Passport Holders – Bahrain (Kingdom of Bahrain)

Filipinos planning to visit Bahrain for either work or leisure must first find a sponsor who will apply for a visa on their behalf. There are a few sponsors that you may want to try including Bahrain Travel agencies. If you know any residents or citizens of Bahrain, you can try and have them sponsor your application. Other options are: Accredited Hotels in Bahrain, Airlines, and Bahrain companies.
For Regular Visa or Visit Visa:

The authority administering the entry of people to Bahrain is The General Directorate of Nationality, Passports & Residence which processes the “No Objection Certificate” for sponsored visa.

The Visa or No Objection Certificate (NOC) shall then be certified and revalidated by the Consulate or Embassy and shall stamp an Entry Visa on the passport.
General Requirements to gain an Entry Visa stamp:

  1. No Objection Certificate (NOC) or Visa
  2. Passport with validity of up to 6 months from the date of departure/arrival in Bahrain.
  3. Copy of Return or Onward Air Ticket
  4. One (1) Passport Size Picture
  5. A copy of your Invitation Letter
  6. Completed Application Form
  7. Fee = Php 1,000
  8. Processing Time = 2 days

For Working Visa:
The authority to process work visas lies with The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA).

The Embassy or Consulate will endorse and revalidate your LMRA Visa and stamp an Entry Visa on the passport.

General Requirements:

  1. Valid LMRA Work visa
  2. Passport with validity of up to 6 months from the date of departure/arrival in Bahrain.
  3. One (1) Passport Size Picture
  4. A copy of Employment Contract
  5. Completed and duly signed Application Form
  6. Medical certificate from accredited hospitals or clinics
  7. A valid POEA certificate of the agency (if applying through an agency) should be submitted.
  8. Other supporting application documents
  9. Fee = Php 1,000
  10. Processing Time = 2 days

Online visa or eVisa is also available online through www.evisa.gov.bh. However it is applicable only for GCC alien residents and other countries eligible for unsponsored visa

  1. General Conditions:
    1. Must be from outside Bahrain
    2. Must travel through Bahrain Int’l Airport.
    3. Validity is for 6 months from arrival in Bahrain
    4. Must be self-supporting
    5. Must not violate the security and national welfare of Bahrain
    6. eVisa is valid only for 30 days
    7. Must have confirmed onward travel ticket to leave Bahrain
  2. Processing time is 72 hours
  3. Payment is through credit card

      go to Philippine Overseas Employment Agency in the second floor NAME HIRED DIVISION before you go you must to secured a Original Contract &
      Original working visa from the employer who hired you directly if the employer
      issued you a visit visa do not agree believe me I already experience it.The good person lean on the good side. God Bless

    it is really a requirement to have the consul/embassy to stamp an entry visa on my passport? what if i already have a valid LMRA work visa and will be coming from singapore, i wont be able to have my my passport stamped by the consul in the philippines. will i have a problem in the immigration in bahrain?
