Visa Requirements for Philippine Passport Holders – Kuwait (State of Kuwait)

Visas are required of Filipino citizens who intend to travel to Kuwait either for tourism or business. Passports should also be valid for at least six months.

As a general rule, Kuwaiti government allows all foreign nationals a maximum of 30 days stay, depending on the type of visa acquired. Be mindful of your visa validity. Overstaying will incur a large fine.

For those applying for a tourist visa, these are the documents needed:

  • Valid passport
  • Duly accomplished visa application form
  • Passport size recent picture
  • Roundtrip/Onward ticket
  • Letter from the sponsor in Kuwait stating name and contact details or hotel confirmation.

Business visa application requirements are:

  • Valid passport
  • Duly accomplished application form
  • Passport size recent picture
  • Roundtrip/Onward ticket
  • Letter from employer stating the reason for the travel, duration of the trip and references from Kuwait
  • Invitation letter from Kuwait
