British tourists are allowed to obtain a visa upon arrival in Maldives which is valid for 30 days. A return or onward airline ticket, as well as proof that the traveler has sufficient funds to cover the expenses of staying in Maldives will have to be presented along with a valid passport. British travelers’ passports are allowed to be valid only for the duration of stay in Maldives; however, it is strongly advised that British nationals ensure that their passports are valid for at least 6 months beyond the expected duration of a trip before leaving the UK.
