British passport holders are allowed to enter Swaziland and remain for 30 days without the need for visas. Those intending to stay in Swaziland for more than the allowed time must apply for extensions of stay at the Swaziland Immigration Department in Mbabane.
It is normal for travelers to Swaziland to enter the country through South Africa. Consequently, visitors from the UK should ensure that their passports are valid for at least 6 months and have at least 2 blank pages, regardless of the official requirement of 1 blank page issued by the South African government. There have been reports of some South African officials insisting on 2 blank pages; therefore, to avoid the possibility of being denied entry and deportation at the traveler’s expense, it is better to make certain that 2 blank pages are available on the passports.
