Visa Requirements for UK Passport Holders – Honduras (Republic of Honduras)

UK passport holders are free to travel Honduras without obtaining a visa for up to 3 months. Honduras is party to the Central America Border Control Agreement (CA-4). Under this agreement, travelers from countries in agreement, including UK may travel within any of the CA-4 countries (Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Guatemala) for a period of up to 90 days, without completing entry and exit formalities at border immigration checkpoints. This period begins at the first point of entry in to any of the CA-4 countries. Travelers who exceed this 90-day limit will be fined, although a request for a 30-day extension can be made before your visa expires.
General Requirements for Honduras Visa:

  1. A  fully completed visa application form
  2. Two (2) passport photographs
  3. A valid national passport & one copy
  4. Original of valid resident visa
  5. Confirmation letter from your health insurance stating coverage & one copy
  6. Proof of group travelhotel booking in Honduras/ airline reservation for Honduras & one copy
  7. Current bank statement & one copy
  8. reference letter from your employer/ education institution
  9. Visa fees for Honduran Visa
