Visa Requirements for UK Passport Holders – Macedonia (Republic of Macedonia)

British passport holders are allowed to travel to Macedonia without obtaining a visa for stays of up to 3 months. British travelers are advised to ensure that their passports have a validity exceeding 6 months beyond the duration of stay in Macedonia.

It is imperative that all foreigners staying at private accommodations or renting apartments register with the local police nearest their place of residence within 24 hours of arrival in Macedonia. Those staying in a hotel are automatically registered upon check-in. Failure to register may result in a fine, detention, having to face a court appearance or even possible removal from Macedonia. British travelers are also advised to register with LOCATE online.

Any visits longer than 3 months warrants obtaining a visa before traveling to Macedonia.
