Visa Requirements for UK Passport Holders – Spain (Kingdom of Spain)

British nationals intending to travel to Spain, for tourism or business, are exempted from getting a visa to enter the country. They are permitted to stay for a period not exceeding 90 days visa-free.

All British travelers are required to have a valid passport, there is no minimum passport validity requirement; however, your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay.

Those who are planning to stay beyond 90 days should register at the nearest Office for Foreigners or at the local police. This must be done before the 90th day. Upon registration, you will be given a certificate with your name, address, identity number and nationality. This will prove that you are registered as a resident but it is not considered as a valid ID.

For additional information on entry requirements, please contact the Spanish Embassy in London.
