Visa Requirements for UK Passport Holders – Denmark (Kingdom of Denmark)

British passport holders and those with National Identity Cards may travel to Denmark and stay for as long as 3 months without a visa. Since both Denmark and the United Kingdom are members of the European Union, citizens of the UK only need to present a passport that is valid for a minimum of 3 months beyond the duration of the intended stay in the country. However, although tourist visas are not required of British nationals, work and residence permits must be obtained by individuals who intend to live and work there.

EU/EEA citizens and Swiss citizens wishing to reside in Denmark under the EU regulations on freedom of movement are subject to special rules.
