British nationals can now obtain a visitor’s visa upon arrival at the Beirut International Airport or any other port of entry. Visas granted at the airport are free and can be valid for stays up to 30 days. However, a valid passport, with at least 6 months remaining validity, and confirmed return/onward ticket must be presented. Travelers must not have an Israeli stamp or visa on their passport. It can be grounds for entry refusal by the Lebanese immigration.
It is also imperative that travelers not overstay their visa. Overstaying travelers will have to pay a certain amount as a fine before being allowed to leave Lebanon.
It is best to contact the Lebanese Embassy for additional and up-to-date information on visa and entry requirements since it changes without prior notice.
