Visa Requirements for US Passport Holders – Tuvalu

US citizens do not need to obtain visas before traveling to Tuvalu. Visitor permits can be obtained by US passport holders upon arrival and these are valid for touristic visits of up to 3 months. US citizens will need to present their passports, valid for at least 6 months on arrival and containing at least 2 blank pages; confirmed return or onward tickets and means of subsistence for the duration of stay in Tuvalu.

If a traveler intends to conduct business or commercial activities at any time during their visit in Tuvalu, they will need to lodge an application for a business visa prior to arrival. The same regulation applies for those intending to undertake employment in Tuvalu.
