Nico’s Pier 38

Nico’s Pier 38 chef and namesake Nico Chaize is a Frenchman who loves displaying his culinary skills by creating sumptuous meals. He takes pleasure in serving something for everyone. Chef Nico has seafood as well as meat items on his menu.

The breakfast menu includes fish and eggs, fish omelette, egg omelette, eggs-n-things (eggs with choice of ham, bacon, spam or sausage), Loco Moco Breakfast (homemade hamburger steak with homemade mushroom gravy, eggs), Fried Rice Plate (mixed with ham, sausage, bacon, green onions, Japanese fishcake and egg), Nico’s French Toast, Breakfast Sandwich (ham, cheese and egg) and Fresh Saimin. Fruit Salad is also offered in the breakfast menu.

The lunch menu includes local favorite plate lunches including Loco Moco, Chicken Katsu, Hosin BBQ Chicken, Hamburger Steak, Beef Stew Plate and more.

The menu also has items from the sea and it changes depending on the catch of the day. More often than not, this includes Furikake Pan Seared Ahi with Ginger Garlic Cilantro Sauce (crowd favorite), Fish and Chips, Grilled Ahi Sandwich, Fried Ahi Belly, and Fried Calamari on Nalo Greens with Sweet Chili Dressing and Ahi Poke Salad.

Nico’s Pier 38 also serves a hearty Pier 38 Double Cheeseburger and flavorful Pesto Marinated Chicken Caesar Salad. The selection may not be extensive but it can definitely stand against other restaurants in the area.

Nico’s Pier 38 is a small, sort of takeout place with outdoor dining. Plastic chairs and tables are placed in the lanai overlooking the sea. On-site street parking is allowed. People flocking to Nico’s do not mind the long line and the heat during summer just to get a taste of their favorite meal. Even tourists frequent this place.

For private parties, Nico’s Pier 38 has a catering takeout menu offering mouthwatering food platters perfect for any kind of party or event. Guests can also book the whole place for a private function. Chef Nico and his staff will make your event a memorable experience.

Nico’s Pier 38 is open from Monday to Friday, 6:30AM to 5PM and Saturday from 6:30AM to 2:30PM.
