Pacific Terrace hotel is well situated overlooking the white sand beaches of Pacific Beach, San Diego – an ideal place for families or group of friends wanting to spend time on the beach. Pacific Terrace is also within walking distance from parks and other local attractions.

Pacific Terrace Hotel has a total of 73 guestrooms and suites. Most of the guestrooms have the view of the ocean and sunset. NON-VIEW ROOM: features one king or 2 queen size beds. Most of the non-view rooms are located either on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd floor with a patio or balcony. These rooms have granite and marble bathroom complete with European bath amenities, refrigerator and mini bar, coffee maker, 42” plasma TV with movie rentals and Nintendo games, iPod docking station, multi-line phone, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, in-room safe and daily turndown. High speed internet access is available for a minimal charge.
PARTIAL OCEAN VIEW ROOM: features 2 queen size beds, a private patio or balcony. Rooms located on the 1st floor are overlooking the ocean view pool while the rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor face either north or south with a partial view of the California Coastline. These rooms have granite and marble bathroom complete with European bath amenities, refrigerator and mini bar, coffee maker, 42” plasma TV with movie rentals and Nintendo games, iPod docking station, multi-line phone, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, in-room safe and daily turndown. FULL OCEAN VIEW ROOM: features 2-queen size beds and have breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. JUNIOR SUITE: more spacious than the normal guest room, Junior Suite rooms feature one king size bed with sleeper sofa or 2 queen size beds, a private balcony or patio that opens out onto the Ocean View Pool or the California Coastline. Dining table and breakfast bar also complement the room. Junior Suite rooms have all the standard amenities.
FAMILY SUITE: ideal for family reunions, the Family Suite is a 2-bedroom suite located on the 1st floor. It has a private patio that offers a partial view of the California coastline. These suites have separate living/dining area with full-size sleeper sofa and dining table for 4. The bedroom has 2 queen size beds, large vanity area, 42” plasma TV and all of the standard amenities. This suite can accommodate up to 5 people.
EXECUTIVE SUITE: located on the 2nd and 3rd floors, these rooms offer a partial ocean view from a private balcony. The bedroom has a queen size bed and a large vanity area with a granite and marble bathroom. The bathroom has a separate Jacuzzi tub and shower. This suite has a dining area and all the other standard amenities.
PRESIDENTIAL SUITE: perfect for a romantic getaway, this suite has an amazing view of the pool area and the Pacific Ocean. The bedroom has one king size bed with a large private balcony and 42” plasma TV. A large granite and marble bathroom has a separate shower and Jacuzzi tub complete with pampering amenities. All other standard amenities are also included.
MASTER SUITE: this suite has 2 bedrooms with balconies with ocean view, separate living and dining room, wet bar and two 42” plasma televisions. Bedrooms have king size bed and large vanity area and bathroom with separate Jacuzzi tub and shower. This suite is ideal for business travelers and honeymooners.
Dining
Everyday, from 7am to 10:30am, Pacific Terrace offers fresh and cooked to order breakfast. They serve whatever your heart may fancy from breakfast burrito to omelette to Belgian waffle and fresh fruits.
Pacific Terrace has no onsite restaurant but guests can take advantage of dining out and having their meal charged to their room and pay when checking out. The hotel has partnered with nearby restaurants in making this service possible. The following restaurants that allow charge back convenience are:
- Hennessey’s Irish Pub: a casual pub located about a block away
- Firehouse PB: an American Eatery serving BBQ ribs, grilled salmon Brie Chicken sandwich and much more
- Gringo’s: high-end Mexican restaurant located 3 blocks away
- JRDN: serves steak, seafood with a sushi restaurant and trendy bar
Guests can also order from Firehouse PB and Bare Back Grill and have it delivered to their room. This service is open for lunch and dinner.
The Front Desk and Concierge Staff can also recommend other restaurants as well as reserve seats.

Spa Therapy Services: spa therapies and massages are available to those who want to relax and rejuvenate after a long and tiring day. Massages can be done in the guest room, by the poolside or in the couple’s massage room. Appointment or reservation is highly recommended.
