British passport holders are not required to obtain visas in order to visit Trinidad and Tobago for tourist and business-related purposes. Their passports should be valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended length of stay in Trinidad and Tobago.
Visitors to Trinidad and Tobago are usually allowed to stay 90 days in the territory and extensions of stay can be applied for at the Passport and Immigration Department.

It is illegal to accept employment, even some volunteer work, without the proper work permits. This would have to be applied for even before traveling to the country.
