Visa Requirements for UK Passport Holders – Vietnam (Socialist Republic of Vietnam)

A visa is required for British nationals who are intending to travel to Vietnam. All travelers are strongly advised to ensure that they secure the appropriate visa for their purpose. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the UK has been made aware that some travel agencies can arrange legitimate visas-on-arrival.

British nationals may be refused entry into Vietnam if their passports have less than 1 month validity from the expiry date of the Vietnamese visa. It is highly recommended to always ensure that passports are valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of travel as this is a requirement for most airlines and countries.
