Visa Requirements for US Passport Holders – Singapore (Republic of Singapore)

US citizens traveling to Singapore for business or social purposes and stays of less than 90 days do not need visas. Singapore Immigration Officers must be satisfied of the following requirements in order to grant entry to US citizens:

General Entry Requirements:

  1. US passport with validity of at least 6 months beyond the date of intended departure from Singapore.
  2. Valid visa for the next destination, if required.
  3. Confirmed return or onward airline ticket.
  4. Sufficient funds for the duration of stay in Singapore.

The length of stay permitted is at the discretion of the Immigration Officer upon arrival at the Singapore Changi Airport. Visitors may request for extensions of stay by applying in person at the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority well in advance of the visa expiry.
